Islamabad(IP) - The head of the House of Culture of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Lahore and the head of the Persian language and literature department of JC Pakistan University stressed the need to identify ways to increase scientific, cultural, and educational cooperation between the two countries.

Iran press/Asia:  During a meeting between Jafar Ronas, the new head of the Iranian House of Culture in Lahore, the capital of Punjab, and Iqbal Shahed, head of the Persian language and literature department at JC Lahore University, the two sides exchanged views on common issues.

In this meeting, while welcoming the increase of cooperation with the cultural representative of Iran, Shahed introduced one of the oldest and most famous universities in Lahore and referring to the good cooperation of this university with the House of Culture and scientific and cultural institutions of the Islamic Republic of Iran, expressed hope that these intercultural connections would continue.

Ronas also emphasized the further development of scientific and cultural cooperation between the two friendly and brotherly countries, especially Punjab province institutions with Iran.
