Iran, Indonesia ink contract in medical equipment worth €5m

Tehran (IP) - Iran and Indonesia have signed a medical equipment contract worth of five million Euros.

Iran PressIran News: On the sidelines of the 3rd Technology Investment Meeting (TIM 2021), a contract for the sale of 700 hemodialysis machines was signed between Aria Teb Firouz (ATF), the only manufacturer of hemodialysis machine in Iran and the Middle East, and Barakah Medica Unsantra from Indonesia in the presence of the Indonesian Ambassador to Iran Ronny Prasetyo Yuliantoro and representatives of the contracting companies.

"We have good capacities in Iran in the fields of medicine, nanotechnology, biotechnology, and engineering. The D8 countries have also made good progress in these areas, which is a good basis for developing cooperation between these countries," President of Pardis Technology Park Mahdi Saffarnia said at the 3rd Technology Investment Meeting (TIM 2021).

The 3rd Technology Investment Meeting (TIM 2021) started on Tuesday, which aims at introducing the investment potentials in Islamic developing countries, especially Iran.

Forty foreign investment companies from 21 countries are present at the TIM 2021 of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation. 

D8 includes major Muslim developing countries, including Bangladesh, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey.
