Tehran (IP) - Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman stated that the Islamic revolution was the fruition of a relentless national endeavor for independence and dignity.

Iran Press/Iran News: Saeed Khatibzadeh stated in a Twitter message on Wednesday on the 42nd anniversary of the Islamic Revolution: "Our revolution was the fruition of a relentless national endeavor for independence and dignity. We've come a long way since, with great achievements at home and abroad. Won't rest until fulfilling our ideals."

He added: "Paying tribute to those who sacrificed it all to advance."

The anniversary of the Islamic Revolution is celebrated on February 10, 2021 (Bahman 22nd according to the Iranian calendar) every year. It commemorates the protests that led to the downfall of the Pahlavi regime and the establishment of the Islamic Revolution by Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace).
