Iran press/ Asia: The construction of the fourth phase of the Herat-Khaf railway in Afghanistan is scheduled to be completed and inaugurated within 16 months.
Earlier, Mohammad Yama Shams, head of Afghan Railway Authority, said that after the inauguration of the third section of the Khaf-Herat railway, the construction process of the first phase of the fourth section of the project has started from Rozanak station in Ghoryan city of Herat.
The Khaf-Herat railway line is the first railway line connecting Iran and Afghanistan and is an important step in reviving and boosting joint economic cooperation between the two countries.
