Revenge of Soleimani's assassination is not a political decision: Ambr. to Spain

Madrid (IP) - Iran's ambassador to Spain has said that the revenge of General Qasem Soleimani's asassination is not a political act but the will of the nation.

Iran PressEurope: Hassan Qashqavi said: "The feeling of the Iranian people following this terrorist act is the same as the feeling of the Spanish people after the Madrid Railway terrorist attack in 2004 or after the Eta terrorist attacks, and this promise of revenge It is not a political decision, but the will of the Iranian people."

In answer to a question about Iran's expectation of the new US government, the Iranian Ambassador added: "The United States must make up for its negative performance."

According to Qashqavi, the actions were taken by Iran after Trump's withdrawal from the JCPOA were in accordance with the paragraphs of Articles 26 and 36 of the nuclear agreement.
