Tehran (IP) - Chief of Staff of the President of Iran says that the case of JCPOA has been closed, and its principle is no longer being discussed.

Iran Press/Iran News: In an exclusive interview with IranPress News Agency, Mahmoud Vaezi, in response to the position of the new US Secretary of State, Antony J. Blinken on JCPOA, stated," Iran stands by its principles and it does not matter who is in power in the United States."

Saying that the position of the new US Secretary of State is not different from the will of the Trump administration, Vaezi added that JCPOA has been discussed once and the reopening of the case was the request of the Trump administration, which was not fulfilled.

Chief of Staff of Iran's President also said: Iran is inside JCPOA and if the United States wants to return to this agreement, it is its own will, but Iran's commitments will be fully implemented when the 4 + 1 group and the US fulfill their JCPOA commitments.

Vaezi added that if the United States and other parties to the JCPOA fulfill their commitments, the Islamic Republic of Iran will definitely return to its commitments.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif earlier in a joint press conference with his Russian counterpart, the Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov said: "We reduced our obligations in five stages according to our obligations in the framework of Parliament Law but if by then the appropriate measures are taken by the Americans and we see the result, then Iran will return to all its obligations, not only will it not block the access of the IAEA inspectors under the Additional Protocol, but it will fulfill its other obligations.
