Tehran (IP) - The Special envoy of Iran’s Foreign Minister for Afghanistan, in consultation with Russia and Germany representatives, called the inter-Afghan talks the most appropriate way to end the crisis in Afghanistan and alleviate the suffering of the Afghan people.

Iran press/Asia:  The latest developments in Afghanistan were discussed today in talks between the Special Representatives of Russia and Germany for Afghanistan and Mohammad-Ibrahim Taherianfard, special envoy of Iran’s Foreign Minister for Afghanistan.

During the talks, Taherianfard stressed the need to reduce violence and Afghanistan-friendly countries' assistance in establishing lasting peace through diplomatic channels.

He also called the inter-Afghan talks the best way to end the Afghanistan crisis and alleviate the Afghan people's suffering. He said that Iran was ready to provide any assistance in this direction.
