Tehran (IP)- Iran's Interior Minister stated that the country's security situation is acceptable despite sanctions, economic problems, and coronavirus.

Iran PressIran News: Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli stressed that in the fourth governors' meeting on Monday, the upcoming presidential elections was the other issue discussed at today's meeting, which fortunately there has been no problem but in comparison with last years' elections, it will be a little worrying.

Iran's economy, production, and production barriers were also discussed during the meeting. Yet, there is no problem in the market to meet people's needs for the New Year. However, sanctions have caused some businesses to face innumerable problems, mainly in Khorasan Razavi, Esfahan, Qom, and Fars, which are touristic and pilgrimage cities, noted the minister. 

Social harms were the other parts of the meeting's discussion. The coronavirus has impacted people's lives, so the government is trying nonstop to maintain people's health and security, Iran's Interior Minister stressed.

The fourth governors' meeting was held at the Interior Ministry chairing by Iran's Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmani Fazli on 25th Jan. on Monday.
