The Iraqi ambassador to Iran delivered a message from Mustafa Al Kazemi the country's Prime Minister emphasizing that Iraq does not support any decision against the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Iran PressIran news: Iraqi Ambassador to Iran Nasir Abdul Mohsen Abdullah spoke about Iraq's stance on the US proposal to add two new clauses to the 2021 UN budget over reviving the Iran Sanctions Committee, emphasizing that raq has fundamentally opposed the proposal at the United Nations. 

The Iraqi ambassador to Iran stressed: "Iran is friend, neighbor and brother of Iraq, and this country has a very close relationship with the Islamic Republic of Iran, and Iraq's constant policy has always been to oppose any decision or action against all its neighbors, especially the Islamic Republic of Iran."

The Iraqi diplomat expressed his condolences to the government and people of Iran on the anniversary of the martyrdom of Lieutenant General Martyr Ghasem Soleimani and Abu Mahdi al-Mohandes, noting the high level of humility and courage of these two martyrs.

Lt. General Qasem Soleimani, who traveled to Iraq on January 3 at the official invitation of Iraqi officials, was assassinated along with Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and eight others in an airstrike by the US aggressors and terrorists near Baghdad Airport in Iraq. 219
