Syrian Grand cleric:
No obstacle hindered Martyr Soleimani, his companions in way of jihad

Tehran (IP) - The Grand Mufti of Syria said at the anniversary of the martyrdom of Gen. Qasem Soleimani: "No factor limited Martyr Soleimani and his companions in the way of jihad."

Iran PressIran News: Sheikh Ahmad Badreddin Hassoun, Grand Mufti of Syria, on Friday, at the first anniversary of the assassination of Lt. General Qasem Soleimani, the late commander of the IRGC's Quds Force, by American drones held at the University of Tehran, emphasizing that the Muslim Ummah must wake up, noted: Imam Khomeini turned on the light of the revolution and said that we came to support the Muslims.

He pointed out that Imam Khomeini  began his mission regarding Holy Quds by closing the Israeli embassy in Tehran and reopening the Palestinian embassy, ​​noting: "Now there are countries that open the Israeli embassy in their countries."

The Grand Mufti of Syria said: "People had neither power nor weapons, but it was the free people of Iran who, under the leadership of Imam Khomeini, led the Islamic Revolution to victory and the Shah fled, and the Islamic Revolution became a model for all the Islamic Ummah and the whole world."

The senior cleric stated: "Today, Iran is sending its children until their blood is united with the blood of the Palestinians for the liberation of Palestine and Beit-ul-Moqaddas. The goal was not just war, but that the revolution should reach Beit-ul-Moqaddas, and if Beit-ul-Moqaddas is liberated, the Muslim, Arab man and humanity in have been liberated in the world.

Sheikh Hassoun, stating that Syria stood by Iran from the beginning for Quds' liberation, said: "The blood of Martyr Soleimani gives the good news of the liberation of Quds. We tell the world that we will come and we will not go under the oppression and we will not leave our first and second qibla to you and we will continue our jihad."
