Tehran (IP) - Iranian Vice President for science and technology said that "Iran has become self-sufficient in the simplest equipment, including masks and other equipment such as diagnostic kits.

Iran Press/Iran News: At the unveiling of the Coronavirus vaccine by young Iranian researchers Vice president for Science and Technology, Sorena Sattari added, "We hope to continue to support the production of coronavirus vaccine to achieve capabilities that there would be no need to import coronavirus vaccine."

Noting that Coronavirus's production is a big event in the country, he stated that knowledge-based companies and other pharmaceutical companies follow this event under National Task Force's supervision for Fighting Coronavirus and the Ministery of Health.

The first injection of the Iranian coronavirus vaccine was carried out in the minister of Health Saeed Namaki and Vice president for Science and Technology, Sorena Sattari in Tehran.

Three Iranian citizens volunteered to receive the corona vaccine. If this phase of vaccination is carried out without problems, more people will be vaccinated in the Coronavirus vaccine's next phases.

The first Iranian- made coronavirus vaccine was tested on the head's daughter for The Execution of Imam Khomeini's Order (EIKO) headquarters in Tehran.
