Tehran (IP) - The secretary of Nanotechnology Headquarters said the Islamic Republic of Iran had reached the fourth rank in the world in the field of nanotechnology with the activity of higher education centers.

Iran Press/Iran News: Saeed Sarkar stated on Tuesday that Iran ranks fourth in nanotechnology after China, the United States, and India, noting that Iran is ahead of European countries, Japan, and South Korea.

He highlighted that Iran has not stopped in the development of nanotechnology and production of science and announced that 24% of Iran's international patents are in the field of nano.

Right now, Iran has 711 approved products in more than 18 industrial fields in the market, which have been produced by 294 knowledge-based companies, he pointed.
