Iran Press/Iran News: Iranian rifle and pistol shooters started their competitions this morning (Friday) in the 80-line hall of Azadi Sports Complex, and Mohammad Rasoul Effati was ranked first in the air pistol category and Javad Foroughi, the Iranian Olympic shooter, stood second and shooter from Vietnam came third.
In the air pistol category, Vahid Golkhandan, Ebrahim Barkhordari, Sajjad Pourhosseini and Erfan Salavati were other Iranian shooters who finished the sixth, twelfth, seventeenth and nineteenth, respectively.
In the men's air rifle category, Amir Siavash Zolfagharian, a young Iranian shooter, stood second, and the first and third titles in this category went to shooters from Australia. Hossein Bagheri, Mahyar Sedaghat, Pouria Nourvian and Amir Mohammad Nekounam were in the fourth, fifth, sixth and ninth places, respectively.
