Iranian teenage chess players won global quotas by winning 6 medals in Asian online competitions.

Iran PressIran news: The final day of the Asian World Junior Championships was hosted online by Georgia, Sunday 13 December, and in the end, the Iranian juniors won 2 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals.

With these results, Iranian youth chess won 6 valuable quotas in the world youth championship.

In the under-10 age category, Sina Movahed boys won a gold medal. Also in the girls under 10 category, Melika Mohammadi won a gold medal by defeating her rivals.

In the boys under 16 age category, Amir Reza Pour-Aghabala won a silver medal. Sahar Masoumi, Bardia Daneshvar won bronze medals in the under-14 age group and Mehdi Gholami also won a bronze medal in the under-18 age category.
