Yemen on Tuesday activated its air defenses after Israel launched strikes on the country, Yayha Saree, spokesperson for the Yemeni military group, said on social media.
“Our air defenses are currently confronting the Israeli aircraft that are launching an aggression against our country,” spokesperson Yayha Saree posted on X.
According to the Yemeni sources, 12 Israeli airstrikes targeted 3 piers in the port, and a series of explosions in the Yemeni city of Hodeidah.
Israeli Army Radio announced that the purpose of this attack is to keep the port non-operational for several weeks after repairs from the previous attack.
