Tehran(IP) - The spokesman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of Iran's Parliament announced that if the European parties do not fulfill their obligations, the commission approved that the Islamic Republic within 2 months withdraws from the voluntary implementation of Additional Protocol.

Iran Press/Iran News: On Sunday night among the reporters about the meeting of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament,  Abolfazl Amoui added: "Following the approval of double urgency bill on parliamentary action plan to lift the sanctions, a meeting of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission was convened.

The spokesman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission of the parliament stated: "This meeting started at 14 pm local time today and ended after 19 pm, and 9 articles of the plan and its generality were approved by the members of the commission."

He stated that according to Article 1 of the plan, 120 kg of uranium with 20% enrichment will be produced and stored in the country annually, noting, “According to Article 2, the Atomic Energy Organization is obliged to produce and reserve 500 kg of low enriched uranium per month, and according to Article 3, the Atomic Energy Organization of the Islamic Republic, is obliged to use the new generation of IR2M and IR6 centrifuge machines. The organization is also obliged to operate a metal uranium production plant in Isfahan."

Senior parliamentarian went on to say that according to Article 5, the Atomic Energy Organization is obliged to design another 40 MW heavy water reactor with the aim of producing hospital radioisotopes, simultaneously with the optimization of the Arak heavy water reactor, and to announce the commissioning time of this reactor to the parliament.

Amoui stated that article 5 had already been reviewed and approved by the commission and the other articles of the plan were approved by the members of the commission today, adding: “In Article 6, the Government of the Islamic Republic of Iran is obliged to voluntarily halt the implementation of the Additional Protocol 2 months after the adoption of this law, in case of non-fulfillment of the obligation of 4+1 countries towards Iran and non-normalization of banking relations and non-removal of barriers to Iran's oil export and sale.

The spokesman for the parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission stressed: "Article 7 also states that if members 4+1 fulfill their obligations to lift sanctions, the government will report these measures to the parliament and the parliament will review to the issue on the basis of paragraph one of Article 45 of the Rules of Procedure of the Parliament.

He noted that articles 8 and 9 of this law are about the obligation to implement this law and support it and provide the necessary funds, respectively.

The representative of the people of Tehran in the parliament pointed out that this plan has had various amendments that after the approval of the reforms that were done today, the plan will be referred to the open session this week to be reviewed.
