Iranian MP:

Tehran (IP) - The spokesman for the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission says there is some evidence that the Israeli regime is behind the assassination of Fakhrizadeh.

Iran PressIran News: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press on Sunday, Abolfazl Amoui said that the intelligence and security services have found important clues in their investigations over the assassination of the Head of the Research and Innovation Organization of Iran's Ministry of Defense, Mohsen Fakhrizadeh.

He added the enemies were targeting Iran's strength points and noted that giving a due response to the terrorist attack is a public demand.

"Yet, due to the complexity of the terrorist operation, some other countries' intelligence agencies have likely cooperated with Israel in the assassination of the prominent Iranian nuclear scientist, which is of significant importance for Iran," he added.

The spokesman for the Iranian Parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission also said that the assassination of Fakhrizadeh could be pursued in international courts because he was an international figure and deputy defense minister of Iran.

Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, head of the Research and Innovation Organization of the Iranian Ministry of Defense, and a prominent nuclear and defense scientist was martyred in a terrorist operation on Friday.
