The Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Zimbabwe and the Vice President of the South African country discussed the expansion of bilateral relations.

Iran PressAfrica: Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Zimbabwe Abbas Navazani met with Vice-President of Zimbabwe, Kembo Mohadi on Sunday.

During the meeting, the two sides stressed the expansion of relations, strengthening of cooperation, and the promotion of economic relations between the two countries despite obstacles imposed by US cruel sanctions on the two countries.

Navazani praised the Zimbabwean government's support for the Islamic Republic of Iran in the face of the anti-Iranian human rights resolution.

Mohadi also stressed the need to expand political, economic, and international interaction between the two countries, and combat the sinister phenomenon of terrorism.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides announced their readiness to start cooperation in areas such as mining, agriculture, health, and trade between the two countries.
