Tehran (IP) - In their fourth political consultations, Iran and Netherlands' deputy foreign ministers stressed the need to strengthen trade cooperation, using the existing mechanisms.

Iran PressEurope: In the meeting held virtually on Tuesday, Abbas Araghchi and Van der Plas discussed the most important international developments and addressed the issues related to bilateral ties and grounds for political, economic, and cultural cooperation.

Both sides also exchanged views on the new post-election situation in the United States.

The third round of political consultations between the two countries was held in November 2009 in the Hague of the Netherland.
