Tehran (IP)- The handball team of Shahid Shamli Kazeroon Army Ground Force won against the Pass of Qom in the second stage of its top clubs' competition.

Iran Press/Iran News: According to the Iran Press news agency, in this game, which was held on Tuesday in the Shahid Soleimani Hall of the Handball Federation, Kazeroon's Army Ground Force team of Shahid Shamli got victory over the opponent with a result of 32 to 26.

Shahid Shameli team has the title of runner-up in last season's handball competitions of the super league.

The second stage of the handball competitions of the country's top clubs is underway in a centralized manner in the Shahid Soleimani Hall of the Handball Federation, in compliance with health protocols, with the participation of 12 teams. 

Amin Rahsepar, the head coach of the Shahid Shameli team if Kazeroon's Army Ground Force, told Iran Press in an exclusive interview after his team won against, the Qom Police team Pass: "We played a really heavy game against the opponent and although we won, the Qom police Pass team put pressure on my handballers until the last minutes of the match, using its experienced players."

"My goal and my guys' in the Premier Handball League are to win the championship and we try to get better game by game," he added.

Also, Amin Vafaei, the coach of the Qom Police force team, said in an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency: "We did our best to get the result and despite our loss, we are satisfied with the result because we played with a strong team anyway."

The coach of the Qom Police Pass added: "60% of my guy's in the squad are local and young players, and you will hear more from these players in the coming years."
