The Leader of Iran's Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei said that today, the US is the very Pharaoh and the tyrant of our time.

Iran PressIran News: Delivering a live televised speech on Tuesday on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and the sixth Imam of Shias, Imam Jafar al- Sadiq (AS), Ayatollah Khamenei stated: " The entire humanity has been addressed by the Prophet of Islam (PBUH). One can say that more than any other time in history, humanity is undergoing immense suffering. Inequalities, warmongering, extremist materialism are more prevalent in the world today. These days, they use science and technology in order to exercise these satanic powers."

He emphasized: "The US is the very Pharaoh and the tyrant of our time."

The following is an excerpt of His Eminence statements:

"This is a great Muslim festivity, and it just lay the groundwork for the appointment of the prophethood of the Prophet of Islam (PBUH). That is the greatest and epical history-making point ever for humanity. Hence, hopefully, this festivity and Eid occasion will be a great blessing to all Islamic communities and the Iranian nation. Also, for the human community, it would be a source of a multitude of blessings.

Well, today, we have three occasions concurrently. One, the auspicious birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet of Islam, Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), and His Grandson, Imam Jafar al-Sadiq (AS). We have another occasion; the beginning of Unity Week which is also of paramount importance. We also have the 13th of the month of Aban according to the Iranian calendar (November 3rd, 2020) which is a day of 'Fighting Global Arrogance'.

Making some points and comments addressing the Iranian nation, Ayatollah Khamenei stated: "As for the Great Prophet of Islam (PBUH), some of the Quranic verses very clearly deal with and have to deal with what is happening in the world today now, but as if when you are reading those verses, it is as if those verses have been rebuilt for the Prophet for mankind living at this time and age. One of these verses says: "We appointed a respected person from among yourselves who is kind and compassionate to the faithful and believers. The first two statements of the verse address the entire humans, community and the following verse says: "Oh people, I am a prophet to stand upon you. The entire humanity has been addressed by the Prophet of Islam. Therefore, these two statements are really important that means a person who respects a person. So he suffers from your suffering. Then he is keen on a good destiny for you. This, again, has to do with the entire humanity. So today, the human community is being addressed by this Quranic verse. This is directly proportionate to the status quo of human societies these days. Human beings today you can say that more than any other time in history, humanity is undergoing immense suffering. You can see inequalities, warmongering, extremist materialism, and this has been unprecedented to this extent.

Referring to the publication of the offensive cartoons and insult to the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH), Ayatollah Khamenei said: "The last demonstration of the global arrogance and Zionism as antagonism against Islam was what happened in Paris last week. It is not just that a caricaturist has done something wrong. He cursed the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) in the language of drawing a caricature. It does not mean that an artist has gone awry and has done something wrong. It is not confined to this."

He said: "There are hands and gloves behind this incident. This is because all of a sudden, a president stands in defense of a typical work of art, and some other governments go for its support. This shows that there is an establishment backing and advocating this wrong deed."

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution pointed out: "Of course, the majority of Muslims and Muslim scholars and politicians have defended the Islamic identity and the Prophet of Islam (PBUH), and they have expressed their outrage. This shows that Islamic societies are alive."

Ayatollah Khamenei reminded: "The French government relates this issue to human rights and freedom; This is where one should contemplate learning. There is a lesson to be drawn! What kind of government is this French government now? What kind of policy is this policy? This is the very same policy that is the fiercest, the most savage and brutal terrorists in the world. That is, the terrorists who assassinated the president, the prime minister, and the head of the judiciary in our country, on top of 17,000 ordinary people on the streets, according to the available statistics."

He added: "I believe that these are two sides of the same coin. That is, defending cultural savagery is the criminal act committed by a caricaturist, defending that is one side and on the other side of the coin is defending the terrorists and dictators such as Saddam [Hossein] who was a ferocious wolf during the 8 years of imposed war against Iran and helping him. These are both two sides of the same coin, and this incident has been repeated in Europe and the United States over the past few years. One of the largest contributors to Saddam's war against Iran was France."

In another part of his speech, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said: "The dignity and magnanimity of the Prophet of Islam is not hurt and tarnished in the slightest way. The enlightened face of the Prophet of affection is not denting anyway by what has been done recently and before. Rather, his face is shining even more brilliantly day by day. Like those hooligans and hoodlums of Mecca and Taif on that day could not conceal the reputation of the Holy Prophet of Islam with all their efforts, today the work of these people is repeated, and they will not be able to and they will not harm the Prophet of Islam (PBUH) anyway."

Ayatollah Khamenei reminded: "These actions are an indication of the dark nature of Western civilization; It shows that this civilization and this culture and this modern ignorance, in its essence, is in fact so dark."

He added: "Therefore, Islam and the Prophet will not be harmed, but it is a means for you and me to get to know this civilization better. This civilization is really a savage civilization."

In another part of his speech, referring to the US elections, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution said: "Whoever becomes the President of the United States has no influence on our policy."

Ayatollah Khamenei also referred to the clashes in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, saying: "The war between our two neighbors is a bitter incident. It should be finished as soon as possible. The territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan must all be liberated and the security of the Armenians must be preserved."

He stressed: "International borders should not be violated, and terrorists should not approach our borders. If they are approaching, they will be dealt with."

In another part of his speech, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution said: "Fair enough, the American regime is suffering from severe political and civil degeneration and moral degeneration. When I say there is no analysis, they say it themselves. These are the words of their own speakers, their own writers, and their own thinkers inside America."

He added: ‌"In these few years, they have written several books that have been published in high circulation in the United States, and these books raise some curtains. I read one of these books translated into Persian. Full of evidence of this decline. That is, if someone really reads the book, from the beginning to the end of the book, it shows the decline of the American political system with the moves of the American president."

Ayatollah Khamenei, stating that this empire will not last long, added: "It is clear that when the work of a regime reaches here, it will not last very long and will be destroyed. Of course, there are some of them who will destroy sooner if they come to power. There are some who, if they come to power, maybe destroyed a little later, but this is true anyway."
