Nairobi (IP) - The Iranian documentary 'No Place for Angels' won the Safinaz Foundation Special Award at the Kenya Sports Film Festival.

Iran PressAfrica: The documentary 'No Place for Angels' directed by Sam Kalantari and produced by Hamed Shakibania and Mohsen Shah-Mohammad-Mirab won the special award of the Safinaz Foundation.

The film narrates the story of the Iranian national girls' skating hockey team and their complex problems on the way to the South Korean Asian Games, such that sport has become an excuse to enter the lives of these girls.

The film received the award in the third round of the Kenya Sports Film Festival held in Nairobi.

Kenya International Sports Film Festival is a Film Festival that is a depiction of the synergy that exists between Sports And Film. This Festival is an initiative of Safinaz Foundation that promotes Sports in Kenya because the foundation firmly believes that while Sports unifies society, Film inspires society.
