Sana’a (IP) – Millions of Yemenis took to the streets in the capital Sana’a and across several provinces on Friday to protest Israel's ongoing military campaign in Gaza, which they denounced as the "crime of the century."

Iran Press/West Asia: Demonstrators expressed their solidarity with the Palestinian people as they face relentless airstrikes and genocide by Israel.

In a show of nationwide resistance, over 70 mass demonstrations erupted across key provinces including Sa’ada, Raymah, and Ma’rib, as well as districts in Amran, Ibb, Taiz, Hajjah, Dhamar, and al-Jawf. The streets were flooded with protesters waving Yemeni and Palestinian flags, chanting slogans that supported the Palestinian struggle and condemned Israel’s genocide.

This week’s rallies were held under the banner of “The Birth of the Prophet of Guidance... A Call to Support Gaza and Al-Aqsa," as they coincided with the upcoming celebration of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). Protesters in Sana’a issued a powerful statement, labeling Israel's actions in Gaza as the "crime of the century" and condemning the regime’s Western allies for their complicity.

“The Yemeni people will continue their mass marches until Gaza achieves victory,” the statement read. It reaffirmed Yemen's unwavering support for Palestinians, emphasizing that the Yemeni nation stands firm in its defense of the oppressed people of Gaza.
