Iraq's Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein arrived in the Egyptian capital, Cairo on Sunday at the head of a high-level delegation.

Iran PressMiddle East: Iraq's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement that Fouad Hussein was planned to meet the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.

According to the statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), he will hold a meeting with his Egyptian counterpart Sameh Shoukry and his Jordanian counterpart  Ayman Safadi on Tuesday to complete the agreements signed by the leaders of the three countries at their last meeting in the Jordanian capital Amman last August.

The statement added, "The foreign minister will meet with Egyptian officials to coordinate the holding of the Iraqi-Egyptian committee in Baghdad soon, and the delegation will also meet with the Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, to discuss the latest developments in the Arab arena."
