Tehran (IP) - People of the Iranian capital, Tehran, cherished the memory of the greatest maestro of Persian classical music Mohammad Reza Shajarian and bid farewell to him by gathering at Jam Hospital, where he passed away, and reciting the singer’s famous songs. The late Iranian maestro Mohammad Reza Shajarian passed away this evening (Thursday) after enduring a long illness. He was last admitted to the ICU of Jam Hospital on October 5, 2020, due to poor physical condition. 214
