Ardebil (IP) - Iran's Deputy Police Chief said the conflict happened between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia is not in favor of either side.

Iran PressIran News: Visiting Khodaafarin and Aslandouz border areas in northern Iran, Brigadier General Qasem Rezaee told Iran Press that during the conflict between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia, part of the Iranian border areas was hit, adding that both countries have been warned to be more careful.

"The continuation of the conflict between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia is worrying and the nations of the two countries are suffering casualties," General Rezaee stressed.

He said the Islamic Republic of Iran is a neighbor of both Azerbaijan and Armenia and seeks peace in the region and the borders of the two countries.

The top police official pointed out that Iran is a neighbor of both the Azerbaijan Republic and Armenia through its northern borders.
