Iran PressIran News: In an interview with ISNA on Saturday, Ali Amiri Rad said that the rockets hit the non-residential areas and farms and left no casualties.

Since the first day of the conflict between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia, more than 30 mortar shells have hit the city, Amiri Rad said.

The conflict between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia began in 1988 turning into a military conflict in 1991 and has once again intensified with the intervention of some foreign countries. The new round of clashes began last Sunday, with a number of forces on both sides killed and wounded.

The Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh pointed on Saturday to some aggressions on the Iranian soil from the conflicts between Armenian and Azerbaijan Republic and stressed that any aggression by any of the parties involved in the region into Iranian territory is intolerable.

In recent days, clashes between the Republic of Azerbaijan and Armenia have resulted in a number of rockets and missiles fired by the conflicting parties in a number of Iranian villages and areas adjacent to the border between the two countries, which injured a five-year-old Iranian child.
