Lebanon (IP)- The speaker of the Lebanese parliament said Lebanon is an Arab country that suffers the most out of compromising with the Israeli regime.

Iran PressMiddle East: In an interview with Al-Mayadeen on Saturday, Nabih Berri referred to drawing land and sea borders between Lebanon and the Israeli regime and said it is a necessary measure but insufficient, and those negotiations with the Zionist regime are limited to drawing borders.

Nabih Berri warned over the return of the Daesh terrorist group, saying the Daesh project is not over in Syria, Iraq, or even Lebanon, and there is a possibility of the return of terrorism.

Lebanon is at a point where it faces dangerous consequences from Iraq, Syria, and Yemen that are still in danger of disintegration, he noted.

The speaker of the Lebanese parliament also addressed the issue of Palestine and al-Quds the capital as a criterion of right positioning and stressed that if the rulers of the countries have requirements for themselves, the nations also have priorities for themselves that should not change, and their priority is the issue of Palestine.

Lebanon and the Israeli regime are at loggerheads over the delineation of water borders in the Mediterranean, such that in 2018 the disputes escalated over the oil block No. 9 in the disputed area.

In addition to the water borders, Lebanon and the Zionist regime also have disputes in terms of land borders in three areas of Shebaa farms, Ghajar village, and Kafr Shuba heights.
