The Chief Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) said that the US political system must pay for Lt. Gen. Hajj Qasem Soleimani's martyrdom.

Iran PressIran news:  "Hajj Qasem's revenge is certain and has not yet taken place. No US general or figure is equal to Hajj Qasem. We are just looking to dismantle the American political system, Major General Hossein Salami said late on Saturday in an exclusive interview with IRIB.

Salami stressed, "What I am saying is not rhetoric. I hate psychological warfare. I declare that though we do not welcome any war, we have no worries about any war."

"If a US official could cross a street in Islamic countries, then we can say that they have infiltrated the region," He added.

Pointing to Iran's attack on the US Ain al-Assad airbase in Iraq, General Salami said, "We did not compare Ain al-Assad with the martyrdom of Hajj Qasem Soleimani, and we only established a psychological balance. We wanted to show the will of the Iranian nation to the enemy that when we say we hit, we hit. Ain al-Assad was not our revenge operation, so our goal was not to kill US soldiers."

He emphasized, "The United States must taste the bitter taste of revenge for this great commander."

Elsewhere in the interview, Salami said, "The United States cannot fight us outside the region. Everywhere in the region is under our sight and in our range. We can occupy and sweep all US bases at the same time."

"Political mismanagement and dementia in the United States has reached its peak today to turn the US military into a tired one. For years, they were only present in the deserts of Iraq and Kuwait without any achievements," he said.

The Chief Commander of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) stressed, "Today, no power, including the United States, has the conditions to wage a new war against Iran. The Iranian people should not worry about the bluffs of US President Donald Trump."
