Tehran (IP) - The Assistant Iranian Foreign Minister and Foreign Ministry’s Director-General for West Asia Rasoul Mousavi stated that the only way to establish peace and stability in Afghanistan is the dialogue between Afghans.

Iran PressIran News: Mousavi tweeted Saturday evening, referring to the intra-Afghan talks in Doha, hoping that the dialogue would lead to full peace and stability in Afghanistan and that Afghan refugees, wherever they are in the world, would return home with honor.

Afghanistan peace talks between the government, political groups, and the Taliban began on Saturday in the Qatari capital Doha.

In a statement welcoming the start of talks between the Afghan government, political groups, and the Taliban in Doha, the Iranian Foreign Ministry stated on Saturday that all issues and problems in Afghanistan could be resolved through negotiation and that the responsible withdrawal of foreign troops is an unavoidable need to achieve peace and security in this country.
