Iran Press/ Iran News: Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar arrived in Tehran to meet with Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif before traveling to Russia.
The Indian Foreign Minister's visit to Tehran is after the unexpected visit of the Minister of Defense Rajnath Singh to Tehran and a meeting with the Minister of Defense Amir Hatami; Jaishankar will stay in Tehran for a few hours and will travel to Moscow for a meeting of Shanghai foreign ministers after consulting with Zarif.
"The foreign ministers of Iran and India have always a lot of discussions, especially on the eve of India's membership in the UN Security Council, which January 1 begins for two years.", Rasoul Mousavi, Director-General of West Asia Desk at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, also wrote on Twitter announcing the presence of the Indian Foreign Minister in Tehran.
