Iran Press/ Iran news: Delivering a speech on the inauguration ceremony of seventy domestically produced railway fleet, Mohammad Eslami said that we must believe in our country’s potential, aptitudes, and local capacities.
He went on to say that we have sufficient local capacity which helps us to develop our country.
Emphasizing on decreasing our dependency on other countries, Eslami noted that we can have self-sufficiency in rail industries, and also gain suitable markets for our products.
Cutting dependency on foreign currency and lessening delivery time of products are achievable, he added.
The official noted that our aim is to produce 2000 wagons and now we have more than 8000 wagon orders from transportation companies.
Rail share of moving cargoes have increased by 2.2% compared to the previous year, he added.
In this ceremony, Eslami inaugurated the railway fleet via video conference in various provinces.
