Iran Press/Asia: Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 5th Colorful World, Cultural Exhibition of Countries Along the Belt and Road, Mohammad Keshavarzzadeh, Iran's ambassador to China, expressed hope that cultural and trade relations between different countries, including Iran and China, would return to normal by curbing the Coronavirus.
"The two countries will be able to develop their cooperation in various fields as before," Keshavarzzadeh added.
One Belt, One Road or Silk Road Project is an investment project in the economic infrastructure of more than 60 countries and the development of two trade routes, the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Sea Silk Road, presented by China in 2013.
He considered the project a good opportunity for the countries along the Road, adding: "Iran wants to develop comprehensive relations with these countries, including China."
"Iran connects East and West and can play a positive role in the implementation of the project," Keshavarzzadeh highlighted.
The 5th Colorful World Cultural Exhibition of Countries Along One Belt One Road kicked off Saturday in Beijing for 6 days.
