The military spokesman of Iraq's Kataib Hezbollah said the group will respond to the Saudi regime's crimes in Iraq.

Iran PressMiddle East: In an interview with Mirat al-Jazeerah Iraqi news website, Ja'far al-Hussaini referred to the recent trip of the Saudi Foreign Minister Feisal al-Farhan to Iraq and his meeting with Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi and stressed that Baghdad-Riyadh ties are possible only if Saudi Arabia apologizes to the Iraqi people and pays indemnities to the families of the victims killed by Saudi-backed terrorists in Iraq. 

Al-Hussaini also pointed to the US military troops' crimes in Iraq and emphasized that if they do not leave the Iraqi soil the resistance front will act itself based on certain strategies.  

The military spokesman of Iraq's Kataib Hezbollah recalled the US' assassination of the Commander of Qods Force of Iran's Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lt. Gen. Qasem Soleimani and Iraq's Popular Mobilization Unit's (PMU) Second-in-Command Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis and stressed that the US will surely receive the response for its terrorist act of assassinating the commanders.   

The late Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani, who had traveled to Iraq on the official invitation of the Iraqi officials, was assassinated by the US drone attack in Baghdad on January 3, 2020, along with the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis as well as eight companions.
