international community must take action to counter Israeli regime

The Human Rights Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) expressed concern over the Zionist regime's policy of repression against the oppressed Palestinian people, including the destruction of Palestinian homes, the siege of the Gaza Strip and other occupied Palestinian territories.

Iran PressMiddle East: In a statement, the Human Rights Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) stressed that the collective punishment of Palestinians by the Zionist regime is against international law and called on the international community to act in support of the Palestinians, especially in Coronavirus pandemic situation.

In this statement, the Human Rights Committee of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation also pointed out the deplorable conditions of the Palestinian prisoners in the Zionist regime at a time of Coronavirus outbreak.

The children of the Palestinian people who are under the control of the occupying regime must be protected under international law and they must have access to basic health services without discrimination.

About 4,500 Palestinians are currently detained in Israeli jails.

Palestinian prisoners in Israeli prisons are constantly subjected to physical, mental, or inhumane treatment.
