Iran Press/Iran News: Farshad Moqimi said on Sunday that 9 indigenization projects have been carried out by the Iranian companies during the past four months and reported 12 further projects being underway, which will save about €10 million.
Moqimi said Iran Khodro intends to achieve a total saving of 153 million euros in the next 8 months through self-sufficiency in the production of some parts.
Taking a number of measures to indigenize car parts last year (2019), Iran Khodro Industrial Group managed to indigenize a total of 59 parts by 35 manufacturers, which resulted in a 74-million-euro saving in one year of production volume.
