Tehran (IP)- The commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Aviation said on Sunday that Iran will soon have missiles with a range of 20 km and 100 km.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking at the ceremony held for honoring pilots and staff forces, the commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Aviation Brigadier General Yousef Qorbani said on Sunday that Iran Army Aviation has reached great achievements in the defense and security sector.

Recalling that today Iran has 435 types of aircraft parts with a circulation of 600,000, the commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army Aviation noted, "The Iran Army aviation supports our dear brothers in the army, the IRGC and the Border Regiment at 4 points across the country."

Qorbani stated: "Airborne helicopters flew 500 sorties during the day and night in the earthquake-stricken areas of Kermanshah. It evacuated 2,000 people during the Zagros fires. In addition, Iran army aviation provides air emergency services to 18 provinces Iran."

The military official stated, "Iran Army aviation has carried out the largest night drill in absolute darkness for 6 hours, which is unique in the Middle East and was able to carry out all operational plans, including heliborne, night battle, and evacuation of the wounded."
