Iran Press/ West Asia: Israeli warplanes continue to target residential areas day and night, resulting in the tragic loss of hundreds of Palestinian lives, including innocent children and women.
The attacks came in response to thousands of rockets fired on Saturday from the blockaded Gaza Strip in the Operation Al-Aqsa Flood towards Israeli-occupied territories, including Tel Aviv.
“At this time, we can confirm the death of nine US citizens. We extend our deepest condolences to the victims and to the families of all those affected, and wish those injured a speedy recovery. We continue to monitor the situation closely and remain in touch with our Israeli partners, particularly the local authorities,” CNN quotes the news from the US official's statement.
As the Palestinian Minister of Health reports, due to the Israeli strikes on Gaza from Sunday, October 7, 560 civilians have lost their lives and 2,900 others were injured.
