The Spokeswoman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 162 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 10,670 people have lost their lives in the country to date."

The official stated, "3,037 patients are in intensive care units."

So far, around 1, 639, 087 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.

The provinces of Khuzestan, Kurdistan, West and East Azerbaijan, Kermanshah, Hormozgan, Bushehr, and Khorasan Razavi have the most cases of COVID-19 disease and are in the red alert.

The provinces of Ilam, Lorestan, and Golestan are on the Yellow alert.
