Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking in a meeting with the new Ambassador of Nicaragua to Tehran Isaac Lenin Bravo Jaen on Wednesday, while receiving his letter of credence, President Hassan Rouhani said that the relations between the two countries have always been friendly, emphasizing the importance of deepening relations and cooperation in all fields.
"Iran has a lot in common with Nicaragua as a leading country in the Latin American region," he said.
At the same meeting, the new Ambassador of Nicaragua to Tehran presented his letter of credence to the President of the Islamic Republic of Iran and said: "Iran has always been a friendly and brotherly country for Nicaragua and I will do my best to develop relations and comprehensive cooperation between the two countries."
The new ambassador of Nicaragua added: "The Islamic Republic of Iran is a model of courage and resistance for the people of Nicaragua against the bullying behavior of American imperialism."
