Iran's foreign minister has said that the current special international conditions have made it necessary to double consultations between Iran and Russia.

Iran PressEurope: "Relations between Iran and Russia, as two neighbors, are strategic and we need to be in constant consultation with each other," Mohammad Javad Zarif told IRIB reporters on Tuesday as he arrived in Moscow at Vnukovo Airport.

The FM noted that the United States and some Western countries are working to disrupt international norms and principles both in the Board of Governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the Security Council.
