Iran Press/Middle East: The Iraqi prime minister stressed that his country could successfully overcome the current economic crisis caused by the spread of the corona and the decline in the world's oil prices.

"The Iraqi government will work hard to improve the country's economic situation," said Iraqi Prime Minister Mustafa al-Kazemi during a meeting with Japanese Ambassador to Baghdad Naofumi Hashimoto.

Al-Kazemi stressed the need for continued cooperation with international organizations and institutions, and its role in improving the economic situation in Iraq.

The Japanese ambassador to Baghdad also said that the Japanese government will cooperate with Baghdad in all areas, especially economic issues.
