Morphologically,  the word 'Qadr' means measurement, and Muslims believe that on this night their destinies would be determined. However, another meaning of the word includes the real meaning of existence, the characteristics of each and every creature, and how it was created. Or putting it another way, 'Qadr' means the limit of creation and the perimeter of creation of every creature and object.

At this night people stay up and reading the Quran and Prying to God above. According to  Holy Quran, the angles and the spirit descend on this night by God's permission,  and this night is better than 1000 regular months of the year The  Muslims believe that during Qadr night, every man's destiny for the next year is determined.
