Tehran(IP) - The Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei in His latest tweet released on Thursday condemned the killing of Indian Muslims, saying the Indian government should stand against Hindu extremists.

Iran PressIran news:  Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei while announcing that the hearts of Muslims around the world are suffering from the recent massacre, called for an end to these brutalities and called on the Indian government to stand against extremist Hindus and their party faithful.

The full text of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's stance posted on the Twitter account of the Islamic Revolutionary Leader's Office of Publication and Publication is as follows:

 

"The hearts of the world's Muslims are hurt by the killing of Muslims in India. "The Indian government must stand against the Hindu extremists and their party faithful and prevent its isolation in the Muslim world by stopping the killing of Muslims."

Today, Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani expressed his concern about the recent incidents in India on Thursday, saying "India has been the land of different races, languages, rituals, and cultures. These kinds of issues contradict the spirit of Indian culture and civilization."

Larijani calls on India to stop violence against Muslims.

Earlier Iranian Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif in a tweet said "Iran condemns the wave of organized violence against Indian Muslims. 

Recent violence erupted in the Indian capital, leading to a three-day-long rampage, with Hindu mobs attacking Muslim homes, shops and mosques and resulted in killing and injuring hundreds of Muslims.

Police in Delhi have been accused of looking the other way as Hindu mobs attacked Muslim homes while in many cases they were found to be complicit in the assaults. The House of Representatives of the Indian Parliament has passed a controversial bill that would accelerate the citizenship of non-Muslim immigrants from Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Afghanistan undermining the Indian constitution and raised the reaction of Muslims in this country.
