Tehran (IP) - Iranian President in a phone call with the Qatari Emir has emphasized that all nations must help one another to overcome the Coronavirus.

Iran PressIran news: During a phone call with the Qatari Emir, Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani,  Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani said on Saturday that the Coronavirus has become a global problem and all nations and governments in the world must be side by side and help each other to solve this problem as soon as possible.

"Fortunately, the Iranian Ministry of Health and Medical Education has made a special plan to manage and control the outbreak," he said, Iran Press reported.

The president added: "There is also a special health protocol for commuting between the two countries, which allows us to restore normal flights between the two countries."

Rouhani noted the need for the two countries to work together to meet the health and medical needs to combat the virus, emphasizing the need to exchange experiences and opportunities to get through this problem.

The outbreak of coronavirus in Iran was first detected on 19 February, when health authorities in Qom confirmed the death of two elderly people as a result of the first incidence of the disease in Iran.

The Coronavirus was diagnosed for the first time in Wuhan city, in China in December 2019, and currently, apart from the country's 30 provinces, the virus has spread to at least 50 countries including US, Britain, Australia, Thailand, South Korea, Japan, Canada, France, Iran, Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirate.

According to the latest reports, at least 83 thousand people have been affected by the Coronavirus in the world, of which about 36 thousand have recovered and about 2800 others have lost their lives.
