Tehran (IP) - The foreign ministers of Iran and Turkey talked about Coronavirus in a telephone conversation.

Iran PressIran news: Turkish media have reported that during a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Cavusoglu discussed the issues of the outbreak of Coronavirus in Iran and also the earthquake on the occurred on the border between the two countries.  

Deputy Health Minister Iraj Harirchi stated on Monday that currently, the number of people diagnosed with coronavirus has reached to around 60. Of these numbers, 12 have died. The number of those suspicious of having Coronavirus is about 900, Iran Press reported.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that closing borders could even accelerate the spread of the Coronavirus if travelers enter countries unofficially.

The WHO instead recommends introducing screening at border crossings.

In fact, WHO has praised China for its commitment to fighting the Coronavirus, stressing that the only way to defeat it was for all countries to work together "in a spirit of co-operation". The WHO declared a global state of health emergency and urged the international community to help China develop vaccines and medical drugs to fight the Coronavirus.
