SADC chairperson, Ramaphosa spoke about security and democracy situation in the region on Tuesday.

Cyril Ramaphosa President of South Africa and Southern African Development Community (SADC) Chairperson has acknowledged satisfaction that peace and security are being consolidated in the region.

He said, this in the following SADC Troika Heads of State and Government summit in Luanda, Angola on Tuesday.

The summit was aimed at assessing the political and security environment in the SADC region, particularly in countries like Lesotho, Madagascar, Democratic Republic of Congo and Zimbabwe.

Ramaphosa said It was successful meeting and summit aimed at looking at the security and democracy situation in the region, specifically focusing on countries like Lesotho, DRC and Madagascar that have been experiencing some challenges.
