Ayatollah Jannati attends parliament open session

Tehran (IP) - The head of Iran's Guardian Council Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati attended Tuesday's open session of the parliament.

Iran Press/Iran News: It is believed by analysts that the presence of Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati in the parliament's open session is considered as his confirmation of the triple-urgency bill against the US' measure to declare the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization.

The bill was approved by a majority in the parliament based on which the parliament was designated to consider Pentagon and all its affiliates as terrorists.

At the same time, today's open session with 229 votes in favor and three against, 2 abstentions all Pentagon members and its affiliations were considered a terrorist.

For the last two months of the current Iranian year (starting on March 21), 200 million Euros from the National Development Fund have been allocated to support the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Forces.

Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani was assassinated by direct order of US President Donald Trump along with several senior members of Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) on Friday Morning 3 January at Baghdad International airport.
