Conference commemorating 92000 martyred Basijis was held in Tehran on Wednesday, with the top commander of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), as a keynote speaker.

Iran Press/Iran news: The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) commander in his speech addressing the conference stated that Iran will continue its chosen path and the Islamic World is at the apex of its power.

The Major General Hossein Salami stated that if the enemies want to do anything against Iran, we will nip them in the bud, Iran Press reported.

He reiterated that today, the Syrians stand against the United States, the Zionist regime and the Al-e-Saud regime, defending their independence. He went on to say, "Iraqis also defend their religious identity and national dignity against the seduction of Americans and Saudis, and the Yemenis also fight the Saudis making the enemy crippled." 

The top commander in his speech to the conference praised the martyrs and their role in the Islamic society and stressed that martyrs are an inspiring source of Iranian identity. 

He noted that without the martyrs there would be no independence, security, and dignity in the country.
