Two young Bahraini Human Right activists executed

Iran PressIran news: Al Khalifah regime executed two pro-democracy activists on Saturday, ignoring appeals by human rights groups worldwide and a last-minute appeal to stop the execution by the UN special rapporteur on extrajudicial killings, Agnes Callamard.

According to Iran Press, Iran's Leader condemned the barbaric act  in a tweet saying "Oppression and coercion won’t persist and the decision and willpower of justice-seeking nations will eventually take over."

Later, Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman denounced the action of the government of Bahrain in Manama, and regretting the execution of two young protesters in Bahrain, stressing that tightening security and a heavy-handed approach by police and security forces will not resolve the crisis in Bahrain.

Referring to evidence and documents showing the Bahraini government's past use of terrorist groups and extremist groups, such as Al-Qaeda, to 'eliminate' opposition figures, Mousavi also added that "executing protesters for various reasons was the same old worn-out approach. But the difference now was that the Bahraini state is itself executing and eliminating the protesters, instead of using terrorist groups to do this work for them."
